Machine Vision Camera 

At Sofasa, in the painting section, a machine vision camera has been implemented to read the chassis codes of the vehicles.

With proper equipment calibration, programming, and continuous lighting adjustments, we can read the complete code accurately.

In addition, proprietary software was developed in Java to interact with the camera, extracting the required information, which is then validated against Sofasa’s data from its SAP system.

A functionality was also created to directly print the code read by the camera onto a Zebra sticker printer.
